First Age of Empires

1570 b.c. to 200 b.c.

The word Empire come from the latin Imperium wich was the title that the one that was on charge of the military recieved. Later on it extended to the "Ruler" of Rome, and from there to eternity. When we talk about Empires we are looking at a single nation (remember that we are talking of nations in a different sense that today) rules over a long stretch of land and different nations. In this period is when we can see how that centralization becomes the foundation of thriving civilizations that imprinted their mark on humanity.
